About 'Return'
I’m Jessica, the 'new' founder of Talent Empower. Before this, I served as the Managing Director for Hays in China. You may ask, why the 'new' founder? That’s because Talent Empower is not a start-up from scratch. Its roots go back over 20 years, to a company called Talent Power, founded by Halina Lee. Under Halina’s guidance and leadership, Talent Power became a respected industry name, known for its professional headhunting and training services, its unwavering values of integrity and professionalism, and for developing a generation of top recruitment and HR professionals.
Prior to joining Hays, I spent 12 years working at Talent Power. Halina’s mentorship had a deep and lasting impact on my business acumen and leadership skills, shaping the path I’ve followed ever since. For me, stepping into this role is not just a new beginning; it’s a return to my roots. When Halina decided to retire after an extraordinary 30-year career at IBM and Talent Power, I was honored to earn her trust and to take the helm of the company she built from the ground up. My goal is to carry her legacy forward.

Why the rebrand to Talent Empower? The answer is simple: times have changed, and we are evolving with them.
From revitalizing our brand to expanding into new sub-brands, enhancing our service offerings, and creating more social value, this transformation is more than just a name change—it’s a renewal at the core of who we are. It’s a commitment, from the heart, to the businesses and individuals we serve. Our brand evolution is not just about responding to market trends but about reinforcing and deepening our mission.
At the heart of Talent Empower is the idea of 'empowerment'—empowering businesses to discover the right talent, and empowering individuals to unlock their potential on the right platform. ‘Empower’ is about strength, support, and, most importantly, a forward-looking, optimistic mindset. This is the message we want to convey to all of our clients.
Looking ahead, we will continue to focus on professional recruitment, training, coaching, and consulting services. But we’re also placing more emphasis on the personal and professional growth of both businesses and individuals. Our goal is to help inject strength and confidence into everyone we work with, enabling them to become their best selves.

About 'Innovation'
Our new mission includes the launch of a new sub-brand: Embrace Working Moms (EWM). I’ve always been driven by a belief that businesses need to be anchored in values and purpose if they are to achieve long-term, sustainable success. My personal experiences, as well as the stories of friends and colleagues, have shown me how critical it is for society to pay closer attention to the challenges faced by mothers in the workplace. Often, gender inequity manifests most sharply when comparing the experiences of mothers to others in the workforce.
For many women, the transition from pregnancy to parenthood means taking on a vital role in the family, which often requires stepping away from the workplace. This period is frequently misunderstood as a “long break,” but in reality, it presents a delicate balancing act between career, family, and personal growth. While some organizations have taken note of the “Motherhood Penalty,” true gender equity demands more sustained effort across society. Working mothers often find themselves walking a tightrope between professional and personal responsibilities, striving to excel in both without sacrificing either.
At Talent Empower, we want to provide more options and greater freedom for working mothers—supporting them carve out their place in the professional world, while finding balance and fulfillment at home. We want to empower them to achieve their own sense of purpose, be better balanced in their professional and personal life, simply a happier working mother!
Your support is what drives us. We don’t want to work in isolation. Our ideas are built on meaningful insights and real-world feedback. To that end, we are launching the 'Moms for Moms' research initiative. We invite working mothers to participate in a brief 10-minute survey (with a chance to win prizes at the end) to share their experiences. This will help us better understand current challenges and inform our future plans. All responses will remain strictly confidential, and the results will be used exclusively for research purposes. We look forward to sharing our findings with you, with the hope that they foster greater understanding and support across society. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward greater gender equity and diversity.
